She is experienced in treating clients with a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and sleep issues, as well as bipolar, mood swings, impulse disorder, post traumatic stress, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). In person and telehealth visits are offered.
Every client will be guided to develop their own customized plan of care in a nonjudgmental manner that helps them feel their best and optimizes their level of function.
"Working with Rebecca has been wonderful. I felt so comfortable opening up to her. She was very patient and kind. Her input I felt was very wise and I did appreciate how she had a very good way of making you see both sides of a situation. It felt like I was speaking to a family member. Almost like the older sister I've always wanted"

"I had the privilege of working with Rebecca Jackwicz over the past 5 months, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the positive impact she has had on my life. From the very first session, Rebecca's warm and compassionate demeanor created a safe space for me to open up and share my thoughts and feelings without judgment. One of Rebecca's greatest strengths is her ability to actively listen and truly understand the nuances of my experiences. She possesses an exceptional level of empathy, making me feel heard and validated. This, coupled with her extensive knowledge and expertise in psychiatry, allowed us to collaboratively navigate through the complexities of my mental health.

"I can’t say enough positive things about Rebecca, she’s truly in the right field. Some words to describe her are compassionate and authentic. She always talks about the “cake mix” and let me tell you, don’t get discouraged and trust her process! There were times I thought I would never feel better but through trial and error, Rebecca has gotten me to a place I didn’t think was attainable. Rebecca doesn’t only prescribe medication as a means to solve problems, she also gives some holistic exercises to improve your mental health, which I personally love! She truly is a dedicated provider and makes you feel heard, is never judgmental, and is very open. The conversation is always organic which is not the experience I’ve had in the past. I’m so glad I found her!"

"Dr. Rebecca Jackwicz is a wonderful doctor! I was having a lot of anxiety due to some unforeseen life changes, and this led to some panic attacks. She has helped me so much. This was by not only talking to me, but also helping me to understand what I need to be able to be the best me. She's an excellent listener and really works with her patients to help them get the best care, and to be the best version of themselves that they can be. I cannot recommend her enough! "
- Allison
"Since I first started with Rebecca, I felt that she was present and attentive to my needs and interests. We worked together on a lot of concerns and she handled my LGBTQIA+ and polyamorous relationship extremely well and with care. She got my meds under control with ease and now I'm on a much brighter path. Had I not moved to Oregon, I'd stay with Rebecca for all my psychiatric needs."
- Steven
"I am extremely grateful for all you have done for me- for your patience, understanding, flexibility, willingness to listen, following up promptly on medication requests and for your all around thorough care."
- Kim
"Rebeccas has changed my life. Prior to meeting Rebecca I had undergone many therapies and medications from a variety of doctors and things only seemed to be getting worse. I was recommended to Rebecca about 8 months ago and we quickly took a dive into things that were causing me issues both from medication and personal items. Within a few weeks I had a brand-new medicine regiment and ways to handle my life. Over the last six months life has improved beyond anything I would have, or could have expected, and I could not be healthier or happier. While the changes were excellent and great for my well being what truly sets her apart from every other doctor I have worked with is her true care about my life and my well-being."

"Having spent years starting and stopping many medications, I felt I wouldn't end up finding any that helped me with my depression and anxiety. After working with Rebecca, I started seeing better results than I came to expect, which gave me some much needed help with long-lasting symptoms along with treating problems that were going completely untreated. She takes the time to work with me and truly seeks to understand the root of the problems, at times shedding light on potential routes of treatment that otherwise went overlooked in the past. She genuinely wants to see you happy and that reflects in the work she does in order to find something that helps."
- Anthony
"Rebecca Jackwicz has truly changed my life for the better. During a difficult period of anxiety and stress, she helped me feel grounded and more like myself again. She takes the time to genuinely understand her patients and offers unwavering support with kindness and compassion. I’m incredibly grateful for her care and can’t recommend her highly enough."
- Bianca
"From the first time I called Rebecca, I got a different vibe from her than others in her field. Her attitude was - the person I called about (my son) is going to get better. Which is something no one else said at the beginning of treatment. She’s knowledgeable and experienced with different treatments and medications. My last comment about her is that she sincerely cares. I haven’t gotten that feeling from anyone else in this field. Rebecca, my sincere thanks for treatment, caring, and everything else you do. I was talking to my son this morning about you. He’s seen many different people in your field. You are the only one that I know sincerely cares about him. I can’t tell you how much that means."
- Terrance
"For 15 years I have been trying to get my medications right. With over a decade of misdiagnoses, a rollercoaster of medication attempts, dosages, talk therapy, you name it. I began to think my life was going to be as is and I was just "getting by". Rebecca has changed everything for me. From the ease of getting a first appointment, to her starting from the very beginning with me and identifying issues that I didn't even know could be fixed with medications. She listens, hears you, and comes up with a plan WITH you for next steps. Since the inception of our relationship, my personal relationship has gotten stronger due to better communication, my weight is under control, my family/coworkers notice a huge difference in my motivation/mood, and I am excited to wake up each day. At the end of my fourth visit with Rebecca - she looked me dead in my face - and said "you are going to be extremely successful." That really started the engine for me. While this is still a journey, the vast change over a short period of time has me extremely hopeful for the future."

"Guided Strength Psychiatry is run by Rebecca and has been one of the top/best medical practices I have been a patient at in all of my life. The initial consultation was EXTREMELY through and covered every aspect of my health (physical and mental): vitals, height, weight, etc. (to track over time) as well has my mental state and history for depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, eating disorders, sleep concerns, alzheimer's, and others. I have never felt SOOO comfort with a medical practice/doctor that is as thorough as Rebecca! She LISTENS!!! She gets to know you as a person: who you are, who you were, makes you feel cared about, and gets to know you on a level that makes a connection that you feel safe. She does detailed "check-ups" on how I am feeling and progressing with my medication for my depression, anxiety, and sleeping troubles. She continues to monitor and adjust as needed until we "got it right," which we have. I am in an extremely challenging stage of my life and I feel better, calmer, and clearer minded now that I did in the fall of 2024. That's how bad I was and how much Rebecca has gotten me to (and kept me) a place that I can live my life as the "old/normal" me!!!
10 out 10 rating for me"

"Rebecca has been extremely compassionate and empathetic with my children. She’s a great listener and is passionate about her mission to help their individual situations. She goes far and beyond caring for her patients which is hard to find in this world. She has opened up her arms when the kids needed a hug or kind word of encouragement. Too bad more people aren’t like this. We appreciate all the time and energy she has shared with us and would recommend her. "
